The Christmas Truce ... The World Premiere! ...

Performances at Actors Cabaret Annex

by Gregory Foote
Directed by Joe Zingo
Produced by Jim Roberts
Cast and Crew: See List Below...

The play is a historical drama set during Christmas, 1914, in the first year of World War I.  It is based on the true story of the unofficial, spontaneous truce between British and German troops that occurred along the Western Front, during which soldiers from both sides laid down their arms and celebrated Christmas together in No Man's Land.  The play depicts the friendship that develops between a young British officer and his German counterpart – a friendship that reflects the spirit of Christmas that prevails despite the destruction of "the war to end all wars."
