We are howling at the moon with excitement over the prospect of taking CATS to the Hult!  As much as we love our intimate Cabaret space, it's always fun to let loose in a bigger theater.  Now, we know that the Hult Center serves their wine in plastic glasses, and they discourage the consumption of lasagna in their theater, but it's still a pretty classy joint!  CATS will be at the Hult March, 12, 13 and 14!

Actors Cabaret Spelling Bee -
They came, they spelled, they laughed out loud!

Boy did we have fun at the Actors Cabaret Spelling Bee!  Twenty spellers from ages 11 to 70+ filled the ACE stage Tuesday night for a good old fashioned spelling bee throw down!  We heard selections from THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, and in between, the spellers vied for the glory and honor of first place!  The spellers were so good we nearly ran out of words!  I can tell you from first hand experience that SPELLING BEE is going to be a funny, funny show!  The characters are funny, the songs are funny, even the poster is funny!

A whirlwind odyssey pitting man against himself is set into motion when the brilliant Dr. Jekyll's medical experiment backfires, giving life to Edward Hyde, his evil alter ego.

This is an elegant and thrilling musical written by two titans of the stage, Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse.  JEKYLL AND HYDE had over 1,500 performances on Broadway and was the longest running show in the history of the Plymouth Theatre, it's Broadway home.  An international sensation, with a sweeping, majestic score, this Tony nominated musical will make its home at ACTORS CABARET this summer in an all new production that promises to be elegant, thrilling, romantic and an exciting way to spend a summer evening!
