The Greatest Singer of the Popular Song.

These are all nicknames for one of the greatest entertainers of the 20th century, a man whose career successes spanned more than 50 years, enjoying popularity with each successive generation.  ACE’s tribute to this extraordinary performer will follow Sinatra’s music from his swinging beginning in the 1940’s, through the 1990’s, bringing jazz, big band and swing to life with many of the singer’s most unforgettable melodies: All The Way; All of Me; Chicago; Fly Me to The Moon; High Hopes; I’ll Be Seeing You; The Lady Is A Tramp; New York, New York; Strangers in the Night; I’ve Got You Under My Skin; My Way......and the list goes on and on.

MY WAY is full of Sinatra’s most popular songs and was conceived by David Grapes and Todd Olson, with a book by Todd Olson.  The piece contains many themed medleys with over fifty songs by composing luminaries like Harold Arlen, Sammy Cahn, and Johnny Mercer. The medleys include Frank’s Favorites Medley, the Summer Medley, the Moon Medley, and the Survivor’s Medley. These medleys lead the audience on an immersive journey into music that stands the test of time—the songs that conjure up the love, romance, and passion of Sinatra and the century he symbolizes. MY WAY flows between music and the stories that made Sinatra an icon professionally and personally. MY WAY clarifies the legend of Frank Sinatra for all generations, allowing the people who grew up listening to his music and watching his TV specials and film performances to share it with their children and grandchildren.

The six-member cast will be directed by Joe Zingo with vocal direction by Mark Van Beever, musical direction by Don Kelley and costumes, sets and lighting designed by Zingo.
