Alex Mentzel...Alex Mentzel was born and grew up in Cologne, Germany for the first 8 years of his life where he attended the Cologne Cathedral Choir School. Since coming to Eugene, he has been delighted to be cast at ACE as “Tiny Tim” in A Christmas Carol, “Chip” in Beauty and the Beast, and as “Alex” in Tag, You’re It. He could be seen flying over the stage last season as “Michael” in RCT’s production of Peter Pan and made his opera debut as “Little Joey” in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi at the University of Oregon. In August, he played “Dog” in the premiere performance of an original children’s play Nisse’s Dream at The Lord Leebrick Theatre.
