Maida Belove-McCarthy...

Maida Belove-McCarthy Is the president of the ACE Board of Directors, and on the ACE Advisory Board.  She is a full time Realtor with John L Scott Real Estate, and currently in rehearsal for BREAKING up is HARD to DO, Neil Sedaka music.

Maida made her directorial debut with THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL, which played to sold out houses for nine performances. 

Last seen as part of the ensemble for the Johnny Cash Musical RING OF FIRE. She is currently playing, Mother Gorman in FLIGHT of the LAWNCHAIR MAN. During the holidays she played, The Ghost of Christmas Yet to be/Blind Old Hag, for the third time in, A CHRISTMAS CAROL the MUSICAL. Before that she was seen as Mrs. Mayor in SEUSSICAL the MUSICAL. She loved being a Bird Girl in A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD. She was fortunate to play Mrs. Pepper in BLUES CLUES LIVE.  Before that she was seen as Mayor Maggie in BAT BOY the MUSICAL.One of the most fun roles ever was Jeanette Burmeister in THE FULL MONTY. Before that she was part of the I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT NOW CHANGE ensemble. Halloween she was a sweet transvestite in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW.

Other roles include, the lovable Mrs. Potts in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Mother Burnside in MAME, Margaret Mead, HAIR, Marge in LARAMIE PROJECT, Madam Dindon in LA CAGE AUX FOLLE, Mrs. Pugh in ANNIE and her first show with ACE five years ago. JEKYLL and HYDE the MUSICAL.

Chorus roles include, EVITA in which her son Anthony McCarthy played Che and in SWEENY TODD, where Anthony played Tobias, the young lad. Also HONK the MUSICAL in which she got to perform with her most talented daughter, Molly McCarthy.
